Financial resources were scarce in the beginning, but Don had limitless determination and energy. He combined these qualities with the keen ability to attract the most valuable resource the company has: outstanding and highly skilled people. While we are now one of the larger specialty contractors in the Midwest, we retain our family business culture and our ability to serve customers with projects of any size.

We have the resources and expertise to complete your projects both large and small. For example, we were selected as the sole supplier of steel erection and equipment installation for a local new plant facility, and our $4.2 million part of this fast-track project was completed in just six months.
Industrial equipment comes in all shapes and sizes. We have the skills and equipment to handle industrial equipment from the heaviest to the most delicate.
Customers often have complicated alignment and leveling requirements. Our civil engineers and highly trained craftsmen utilize state-of-the-art tools to satisfy these needs.
Fruchey has relocated equipment—from one machine to an entire plant’s worth—across town and as well as across the country.

Fruchey provides full support to plant maintenance personnel. Our people understand the importance of work schedules to minimize production interference. We know the urgency of emergency production downtime situations and are prepared to respond accordingly.

We can design, fabricate, and erect what you need for new building construction or for existing building renovations and modifications. Our services include structural steel erections, reinforcing existing building steel, and mezzanine erections.
Our customers become partners with a contractor who will store new equipment until the time of its installation or store used equipment until its disposition has been decided. Our facilities meet these needs. We can assemble and modify equipment before shipping for final installation. Crating for overseas shipments is also available. We currently have facilities at our Old Maumee Road address and at Casad Industrial Park.
